Help renowned Detective Carter Montague solved his biggest case yet! Well, in the full game, I mean. This here is just the demo.
Here you can get a feel for how the gameplay works, how the 3D camera works, and, if you're lucky, find a really big sandwich.
Please note that everything here is work in progress.
All text and voices are in English, with a monochrome filter available for those who may need or prefer it.

I've been wondering how this game is coming along? Are you still working on it?
Tried on an old 1920x1200 display; breaks inventory, most left item (electrical tape) not accessible at all.
Looking forward to seeing the game progressing! your progress shares on the P&C discord were an inspiration for me to start my own adventure game project.
Hey! Thanks for the feedback! I'll take a look at the widget and see why it's not resizing. There should be a new (expanded) demo at the end of this week1
I would make the flyers bigger and more visible, it took me a while to see them, plus I got a white screen as soon as I entered the house, was that the end of the demo or did the game crash? looking good tho good work
Hey, thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the flyers are next on the list to improve. They're a bit of a pixel hunt.
With regards to the white screen, it should play a video before exiting to Windows. It looks like it's a codec issue for some users. I'm trying to find how to stop it happening and will reupload the demo once I've figured it out.
